🎮 Grade 4: Minecraft Education, “Good Game”

This week in Computer class, our Grade 4 students took part in a unique learning experience through Minecraft Education with the interactive world called GOOD GAME.

This game-based lesson focused on responsible online behavior and digital citizenship, teaching students how to:

  • Balance responsibilities by completing real-life chores before earning computer time
  • Recognize and respond to negative online behaviors such as:
    • Griefing (destroying others’ work)
    • Spamming (flooding chats or actions)
    • Cheating (using unfair advantages)

Through engaging gameplay and thoughtful scenarios, students learned how to stay safebe respectful, and make smart choices when gaming online. The activity encouraged reflection on how to deal with difficult players and how to maintain a positive gaming environment.

It was a fun and eye-opening way to build awareness about the challenges and responsibilities of being a good digital citizen, both in and out of the game!

Grade 4 English: Research Project

Today, our amazing Grade 4 students took a deep dive into the lives of two inspiring figures, Albert Einstein and Amelia Earhart.

As part of their English lesson on biography writing, the students researched key facts, achievements, and life events of both historical icons. The goal was to help them understand how biographies are structured, how to include meaningful details, and what makes a person’s life story truly memorable.

Working in pairs, they explored online sources and videos to gather important information, developing their skills in note-taking, summarizing, and organizing ideas. By learning about the brilliant mind of Einstein and the daring adventures of Earhart, they also gained a deeper appreciation for the qualities that make someone remarkable.

This activity not only helped students recognize the features of a great biography but also served as inspiration for writing their own autobiographies in the coming weeks.

Well done, Grade 4, you’re on your way to becoming fantastic writers and researchers!

Grade 3 Science : Exploring Our Teeth

This week in Science, our Grade 3/7 students took a closer look at their teeth! ?

We learned all about:

  • The difference between adult and child teeth
  • The shapes and sizes of different teeth
  • The names and functions of each type of tooth (incisors, canines, molars, and premolars)

Students had a hands-on experience using mirrors to examine their own teeth and identify which ones are still growing in or missing. We also explored a model of the human mouth to better understand tooth placement and structure.

In their very first week of Grade 1, our bright and curious students jumped into the world of learning with smiles and coloured pencils in hand! They had an amazing time creating their “All About Me” booklets, where they colored, drew, and wrote about their favorite things, families, and dreams.

The classroom was filled with laughter and excitement as students proudly shared their pages with new friends, fostering connections and building a sense of community. This engaging activity not only allowed them to express their individuality but also set the stage for a year full of discovery and growth.

What a wonderful start to an exciting journey ahead! We can’t wait to see all the incredible things our students will achieve this year!

Grade 3 Computer: Infographics

Today, our fantastic Grade 3 students had a great time creating colorful infographics about the history of Bangkok Christian College (BCC)!

Using PowerPoint, they designed eye-catching visuals filled with fun facts and key milestones in the 173-year history of BCC.

The lesson focused on teaching them about infographics while also guiding them on how to add different shaped and colored text boxes to their slides.

The boys worked together in the computer lab, showcasing their creativity and teamwork, while learning about our school’s heritage. They even searched the web for appropriate images of the school to enhance their slides.

Great job, Grade 3! Keep shining bright!
